On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, AGBU Lebanon President Gerard Tufenkjian and distinguished committee members of the AGBU and AGBU-AYA hosted Lebanon’s newly appointed Primate, His Grace Archbishop Nareg Alemezian at AGBU Demirdjian Center.
On behalf of the District Committee of AGBU Lebanon, Mrs. Sylva Libaridian, the Interim Vice Chair of the Committee, welcomed Primate Alemezian and the attendees.
Archbishop Alemezian stressed on the important role AGBU plays in preserving the Armenian identity in Lebanon and globally. He conveyed his blessings and good wishes to the AGBU and AGBU-AYA committee members and stressed that community establishments, including the AGBU, must work to strengthen the Armenian community.
