Dermirdjian Center

The AGBU Demirdjian Center houses the central administrative offices of AGBU and AYA Lebanon and also diverse sports, cultural and recreational facilities that are used by the community at large.

Founded in 1997, the Center today has nearly 3,000 active members that are enrolled in its various disciplines of sports activities that are instructed by highly certified professional trainers. The Center is also prominent in the region for its specialized activities for children. As an example, the Taekwondo department has more than 450 members, who over the past years have claimed numerous championships at the national and international levels.

Along the sports activities, the AGBU Demirdjian Center administers two educational programs: the Armenian Language Saturday School, which has more than 90 students every season, and the AGBU Demirdjian Center Summer Camp, which is the first Armenian educational and thematic summer camp in Lebanon that gathers more than 300 campers every summer.
