Ladies’ Auxiliary

With its first chapter established in 1931 in Beirut, the AGBU Lebanon Ladies’ Auxiliary currently has 6 chapters spread across Lebanon: Antelias, Beirut, Rmeil, Bourj Hammoud- Amanos, Rabieh, Meghri and Zahle.

The AGBU Lebanon Ladies’ Auxiliary, firm in keeping the Armenian traditions and heritage alive, has been celebrating notable Armenian feasts for more than 20 years. The enthusiastic and active ladies are always ready to spread positive energy and gather the communities women together through joyous events and celebrations. The Ladies’ Auxiliary’s main target is to fundraise for the needy students in AGBU Schools in Lebanon. In addition, the Ladies’ Auxiliary also promotes women’s interests by organizing talks and sessions surrounding women’s rights.

The Ladies’ Auxiliary Committee consists of: Caline Haladjian (Chairwoman), Shoghig Baghdassarian, Shoghig Berdoyan, Arous Poladian, Silva Artinian, Keghan Hadjian and Lucine Kirishdjian.
