A ceremony was held on the morning of Monday, October 1, at the AGBU Lebanon Schools to honor Her Excellency Mrs. Leila El Solh Hamade, Vice President of Alwaleed bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation, for the generous donation offered for the classrooms by the Foundation. The hall of the AGBU Lebanon Schools was crowded with members. Present were AGBU President Gerard Tufenkjian and members of the District Committee of Lebanon, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia HE Samvel Mkrtchyan, benefactors Seta Sarkis Demirdjian, Rita Avedis Demirdjian, Sonia Garmirian Zavzavadjian, and members of the AGBU-AYA Central, Asbeds, AGBU Education, Cultural, Ladies, Veterans’ Committees. The artistic portion of the program included a traditional Armenian Dance and a band performance by the students. President of AGBU Lebanon took on stage to acknowledge Alwaleed Bin Talal Humanitarian Foundation’s hard work and to present Mrs. Leila El Solh with a token of appreciation. A reception followed the ceremony.
